100 WAYS TO SAY WE
IOO Ways to Say We is an online platform, a pre-enactment of multiple future visions, a speculative-utopian take on the possibilities of the concept of “We”. Artists, theorists, and activists from around the planet share diverse ways of living together – from the perspective of an imagined future: a map of voices, stories, and opinions that revolve around the idea of a diverse, contradictory, and ambitious “We”, which eventually creates an Archive of the Future.

TRAINING FOR THE FUTURE
Training for the Future is a utopian training camp where audiences are turned into trainees to pre-enact alternative scenarios and reclaim the means of production of the future. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the 2021 edition has a decentralized form, with trainings taking place in parallel across the world: acting collectively, even when apart.
Training for the Future is a project by Jonas Staal, curated and co-programmed by Florian Malzacher
Within And Against Utopia: Commoning Art Institutions
a Training by S.a.L.E. Docks & Extragarbo
Venice, Italy March 6, 2021
How to common, queer and decolonize art and its institutions? The current pandemic crisis revealed the fragility of neoliberal art infrastructure. Through theoretical exercises and embodied practices of imagination, the training will focus on ideas of commoning care, social cooperation, the practice of conflict and self-government. Utopia is not meant to become nostalgia of the future, but the struggle of common imagination within the contradictions of the present.
